Cambrian Truck Centre is seeking a motivated and skilled Licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician to join our growing service team. We are looking for an individual who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship, maintaining high safety standards, and providing exceptional service to our customers.

This position offers competitive compensation based on experience, training, and skill level.

 

Compensation

$40.00 - $51.00 per hour

Wages will be discussed during the interview process and will be based on qualifications, experience, OEM certifications, and demonstrated abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, air, fuel, and emissions systems.
  • Complete engine, drivetrain, suspension, steering, braking, and HVAC repairs.
  • Use diagnostic software and computerized service tools.
  • Accurately document repairs and complete work orders.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with service advisors, parts personnel, and fellow technicians.
  • Adhere to all company safety procedures and manufacturer standards.

Requirements

  • Valid Ontario 310T Truck & Coach Technician Licence.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Valid Ontario driver's licence.àAbility to provide a satisfactory driver's abstract.àAbility to perform physical duties associated with heavy truck repair.

Assets:

  • Experience with Freightliner, Western Star, Detroit Diesel, Cummins, Allison Transmission, and Daimler products.
  • OEM training and certifications.
  • Experience using diagnostic software and electronic service information systems.
  • Class A or DZ licence.
  • Previous dealership experience.
